Job Description:??????? Primary role of SPM is to provide necessary support to achieve Distribution Division business results.? Secondary role of SPM is to ensure implementation of sales strategy and best practice approach within the Distribution Division to maximize organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent must have TCi field sales / operations experience, to include account management, and strong analytical skills in order to identify business trend issues and develop action plans.? Person must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with a sales team in a support role (not the owner but key contributor to business).? A high level of self-motivation is required to drive value added actions contributing to the channel's success along with excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.???
A partial list of the responsibilities for the position includes:
1)????? Business Planning
????????? Assist in the development of business objectives, initiatives to achieve objectives and tactical actions to execute initiatives successfully.
????????? Active participant in the execution of initiatives.
????????? Represent holistic view of what is needed from organization to achieve objectives.
2)? Project leadership
????????? Responsible for the deliverable on projects contributing to the achievement of business plan.
????????? Reports to VP of Distribution on progress of project.
????????? Coordinates with all necessary departments internal / external with minimal assistance from VP of Distribution to achieve project deliverable.
3)? Commercial Analysis/Proposals
????????? Gather necessary data and / or analysis to interpret and summarize the commercial impact of business decisions (i.e. promotion, product launch, monthly programs, Co-op)
????????? Gather necessary data and / or analysis and provide the commercial perspective explaining key metric performance impact on the business, summarize the key drivers and provide recommendations for next actions
4)? Cross Department Coordinator
????????? Coordinate internally between necessary departments for specific projects or arising needs supporting business plan objectives.
5) Action Item Management
????????? Manage action item register for projects, meetings, etc to ensure all actions are captured, responsible and deadlines identified, issues brought to attention when necessary, status updated regularly and all deadlines met per commitments.
